Press Release: Lutheran Bible Translators presents the Installation of Executive Director Rev. Dr. Rich Rudowske & Open House Event

Concordia, Missouri February 4, 2023 – Lutheran Bible Translators presented the Installation of Rev. Dr. Rich Rudowske as Executive Director of Lutheran Bible Translators at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on February 4, 2023 with Presiding Minister President Lee Hagan. Other guests included Concordia Seminary St. Louis President Dr. Tom Egger, Dr. Ron Mudge, President of the Mekane Yesus Seminary Dr. Bruk Ayele, Saint Paul Lutheran High School Executive Director Rev. Dr. Paul Mehl, and Wycliffe Bible Translators CEO Dr. John Chesnut. Following the installation, Lutheran Bible Translators hosted an open house at its international offices.

President Lee Hagan (of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s Missouri District) installed Rev. Dr. Rich Rudowske as the new Executive Director + CEO for Lutheran Bible Translators, Inc. on Saturday, February 4th at 2pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, Missouri. Lutheran Bible Translators’ international offices was open to public for a reception following the service. They announced their campaign – More Than Words, A Campaign for Scripture Impact. The goal of the campaign is to raise $43.9 million for translation, engagement, and capacity efforts in Bible translation ministry. In addition, Dr. Rudowske announced the campaign has reached 70% of its goal.
