The Krio Bible Makes an Impact

In 1975, LBT was invited by partners to help with the Krio New Testament translation in Sierra Leone.  The New Testament was dedicated in 1986 and  LBT helped on a consult basis with the Old Testament. In 1999, the Bible Society in Sierra Leone took over the management of the translation.  The translation was dedicated in the spring of 2013 and is making a significant impact on a church in Freetown.  See this article to see how.
