Barbara Beermann

Board Executive Assistant

Barbara Beermann grew up in the Lutheran Bible Belt of Missouri, on a family farm just a few miles from LBT’s new international offices in Concordia, Missouri. She currently belongs to Faith Lutheran Church in Jefferson City, and splits her time between living there and in Concordia, where she has close family.

She has served as the Public Information Officer for a non-profit organization, and provided promotional and outreach services for a major department of the state. Most recently she retired as an educator from the state retirement system, where she helped adults nearing retirement understand the value of their benefits and the skills needed in the next phase of their lives.

She holds a degree from Mizzou and, just after college, was selected to participate in an international educational exchange program in Kenya, where she lived for four months. Barbara loves the travel experience and plots the places she has visited on a map. She also keeps a list of places she would still like to go!
