Advent Devotions 2025

In a season often filled with noise and distraction, Advent calls us to slow down—to wait, to watch, and to listen. Long before the angels sang or shepherds knelt, God spoke. His Word promised light in the darkness, hope for the weary, and redemption for the fallen.

As we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ, we are invited to return—to the Word made flesh, and to the Word written. In Scripture, we meet the Savior who entered our world not with fanfare but with faithfulness. Each passage we read in this season draws us closer to the One who came to dwell among us, full of grace and truth.

This Advent, let us rediscover the wonder of God’s Word. Let it shape our waiting, deepen our hope, and prepare our hearts to receive again the good news: “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14).
