Together in Mission

Connecting with Congregations and Organizations
At Lutheran Bible Translators, ministry happens through partnership. From visiting local congregations to gathering at national conferences, we’re continually reminded that the Great Commission is a shared calling—one that flourishes when God’s people work together to bring His Word to every language and heart.
Our team travels to conferences, conventions, and congregational gatherings across the country. These events are more than opportunities to share updates, they’re chances to connect face-to-face with pastors, church workers, and lay leaders who are passionate about Bible access and Scripture engagement. Conversations around display tables and over coffee often spark new partnerships, prayer commitments, and creative collaborations that strengthen the global Church.
We also love visiting congregations! Whether it’s preaching on Bible Translation Sunday, joining a mission festival, or meeting with a small group interested in global Bible ministry, our missionaries and staff delight in seeing local believers inspired by how God’s Word transforms lives around the world. Every visit is a reminder that mission begins in relationship—one congregation, one conversation at a time.

As we look ahead, Lutheran Bible Translators remains committed to walking alongside congregations and partner organizations, encouraging deeper engagement with God’s Word and greater participation in His mission. Together, we’re not only translating the Bible, we’re helping the Church live out its calling to proclaim the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
