Advent Devotion: Hebrews 10:23

Reflection

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” This verse calls us to perseverance, anchoring our hope in God’s faithfulness. Life often tests our resolve, but God’s promises are unshakable. Through Jesus, we are heirs of an eternal hope that cannot be shaken by the storms of this world.

Advent reminds us that our hope is not fleeting or uncertain. It is rooted in the finished work of Christ and the assurance that He will return to make all things new. When doubts arise, we can look back on God’s faithfulness throughout history and trust that He will remain true to His Word. This hope sustains us, giving us strength to endure and persevere in faith.

Prayer

Lord, help us hold firmly to the hope we have in You. Thank You for being faithful to every promise. Strengthen us to endure in faith, trusting that the hope we profess is secure in Christ. Amen.
