The Maan people believe in a supreme god, but have no way to reach him. Scriptures in Maan will attest to God’s presence and accessibility to His people. The Maan are supportive of the translation and an interest in advancing literacy.

- Team check the following: Mark, Romans, 1 Corinthians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 & 2 Peter, 1-3 John, Jude, and Revelation – a total of 3,442 verses.
- Complete consultant check for the above mentioned books, as well as Matthew, Acts, and Galatians a total of 5,390 verses.

DR. BECKY GROSSMANN
Becky currently serves as a Bible translation consultant for projects in Liberia and Sierra Leone. She facilitated the completion of the Gola New Testament in 2019. She is involved with three whole Bible translation projects in Liberia, particularly for the Bandi, Dan and Maan people. Becky assists translators via innovative technologies such as internet communications and teleconferencing, with periodic in-person visits in Liberia.

Maan speakers occupy the northeastern part of Liberia, known as Nimba County.
The community consists primarily of farmers.
