The next generation of Bible translators is emerging

Many of Lutheran Bible Translators’ partner institutions educate individuals in linguistics, biblical languages, and translation studies. Local language speakers can train for ministry while remaining in their home country or nearby region. Graduates from these programs actively contribute to translation and literacy initiatives in their communities.

Trained local personnel deliver higher quality translations in a shorter timeframe. Their deep understanding of the language and culture ensures that God’s Word is conveyed in a clear and culturally appropriate manner.

Your prayers and financial support are essential for students aspiring to make a difference through Bible translation.

Invest in future translation leaders

Scholarship recipients are vital to the advancement of Bible translation. Your gifts and prayers enable students to pursue the formal training needed to effectively organize and lead translation and Scripture engagement programs in the language(s) they understand best.
