Conditions in the field wear down tech quickly
Conditions on the mission field, including high humidity, ocean air, dust, and sand, can be destructive to a computer’s hardware. It is essential to purchase high-quality machines. Ensuring optimal functionality avoids the future delays (of a month or more) of lower quality machines that need to be sent for repair more often. Even with better products, laptops typically must be replaced every three to five years for the entire language program team.
Equipping partners with the technology to do their work efficiently improves the quality of translation and Scripture engagement materials.
Equip Leaders with The right tools
We believe that every community should have the chance to read the Bible in the language they know best, led by people they trust and respect. Your financial gifts and prayers provide new missionaries and programs with the technology needed to begin translation and provide literacy education as soon as possible.
Program Goals
- Provide ministry partners with 76 new laptops to use in ministry programs over a three-year period.
- Provide training for partners in Bible translation software.
Ministry Technology Fund Approach

Step 2

Logos Software for 20 Bible Translation students and two assistant instructors–the software will be used by the BT fourth year students for their study purpose. The students are in need of several reading materials as they are planning to write their research paper, which is a partial fulfillment for the degree of Bachelor of Theology in Bible Translation and Mission. Also, it is necessary so that the students would be familiar with several resources in Logos, especially the Translator’s Workplace. Translator’s Workplace is one of the best resource centers for Bible translation practitioners.
