Meet the Missionary

Paul and Ali have been serving with Lutheran Bible Translators since 2006, first in Ghana, then in Ethiopia, and now worldwide.

Paul has served partners and missionaries in various IT roles, helping people use technology to further the work of Bible translation. He currently serves as Chief Programs Officer. In this role he provides leadership and support for Lutheran Bible Translators’ ministry work throughout the world.

Ali has a passion to help missionaries remain healthy in their various fields and roles. Using her gifts in this area, Ali serves as a Prayer & Member Care Manager. She provides consultation, lay counseling, coaching, crisis response, and referral for Lutheran Bible Translators’ missionaries and staff helping them not just survive the stresses of cross-cultural ministry, but to thrive. 

Paul and Ali have three children: Hannah, Levi, and Eden.
