Building on a decade of translation progress

Since 2012, when the *Subula New Testament became available in audio form, the community has actively worked to enhance Scripture access. Working alongside the Department of Translation and Literacy (DTA) of the Cameroon Evangelical Lutheran Church (EELC), local leaders are now advancing both New Testament revision and Old Testament translation.

The program continues to expand through village outreach, digital resource development, and comprehensive training programs. A dedicated translation and literacy office serves as a hub for these growing initiatives.

Literacy classes are thriving, with increasing participation demonstrating the community’s eagerness to engage with Scripture in their heart language.
