Clay Reisler

Meet the Missionary

Clay serves as the Program Management Facilitator at Lutheran Bible Translators, where he equips partners and local leaders with culturally contextualized project management tools and methods to support Bible translation and Scripture engagement. 

After a career in public school teaching, Clay felt called to share the love of the Lord in full-time ministry. He joined Lutheran Bible Translators to help drive innovation in Bible translation. Through his work, global teams are empowered to plan, manage, and report on projects more effectively—accelerating the pace of translation and expanding access to Scripture in the language people understand best.

Clay is married to Louise, a commissioned Lutheran school teacher. They have two grown children: Brock (married to Michelle) and Bennett (married to Taylor).
