Rev. Tim and Deac. Erin Schulte
Rev. Tim Schulte was born in Togo to missionary parents. The oldest of four children, he spent the better part of fourteen years living in West Africa. His family later returned to the United States, where he eventually graduated from Truman State University with a B.A. in Political Science. At the end of a two-year Peace Corps service in the country of Swaziland, he was accepted into the M. Div. program at Concordia Seminary. Tim was ordained on June 5, 2022, at Salem Lutheran Church in Blackjack, Missouri.
Deac. Erin Schulte is from Georgia, and is the oldest of three children. After obtaining her B.A. in History from the University of West Georgia, God called her to attend Concordia Seminary to become a Deaconess. There she enrolled in the dual degree program concerning Spiritual Care and Social Work. Over Tim’s vicarage, Erin earned a Diploma in Theology for Ministry from the University of Cambridge. Erin is now a licensed social worker serving with Lutheran Bible Translators as a deaconess and missionary.
