A language is more than words. It’s where faith lives.
In Cameroon, God’s Word is reaching language communities through Bible translation, literacy, and Scripture engagement led by local leaders and ministry partners. These efforts help people engage with Scripture in the language they understand best and strengthen communities for lasting ministry.
Across Nizaa, *Subula, and other language communities, local teams are expanding access to Scripture through translation, literacy training, leadership development, and community engagement.

Lutheran Bible Translators is already solving the technical problems related to Bible translation and is supporting students studying translation in Seminary. The partnership will advance translation work in Ethiopia.

Local teams draft, review, and refine translations — ensuring every word reads naturally in the community’s own voice.
Distribution & discipleship
Completed Scripture is distributed and woven into church life, ensuring it’s read, taught, and passed on.
