Become a Member
As a direct financial contributor to Lutheran Bible Translators, you qualify to be a member for the current year if you:
- are a member of a Lutheran congregation, and
- are at least 18 years old.
Members participate in nominating and electing the Board of Directors and participate in any changes to the bylaws (our charter document).
If you meet the criteria for membership and would like to receive nomination and voting materials, please complete and submit the form.
If you donate jointly with a spouse, each person is eligible to have one vote. You must submit information for each individual, if applicable.

2025 Annual General Meeting Recap
2025 marks another pivotal year for Lutheran Bible Translators as we continue to bring God’s Word to those who need it most. We celebrated two significant milestones in the first quarter—the success of the ‘More Than Words’ campaign and the launch of the ‘God Speaks’ initiative, demonstrating our commitment to expanding scripture access and engagement worldwide. From 2019 to 2024, your generosity helped us expand from 72 to 149 language communities, impacting millions with the message of the Gospel. Together, we are currently serving 133 programs.
Your partnership enabled remarkable progress in Bible translation, including collaborative efforts in Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia. Newly translated scriptures are finding their way into the hands of those longing to experience God’s Word in a language they can clearly understand. Yet, the need remains great—thousands of languages still wait to hear God’s message. Together, we remain committed to equipping every language community with Scripture by 2033.
We invite you to stay engaged through prayer, giving, and advocacy. Every contribution strengthens this vital ministry as we follow the Lord’s guidance to illuminate lives with His Word. Thank you for your faithful support and dedication to sharing God’s love around the world.
