In Southeast Asia, God’s Word is reaching language communities through Bible translation, Scripture engagement, and local leadership development. Through trusted partnerships and culturally relevant ministry, communities are gaining greater access to Scripture in the languages they understand best.
Across Indonesia and other sensitive locations in Southeast Asia, local teams are developing Scripture resources, supporting translation efforts, creating oral and digital materials, and equipping community leaders to engage people with God’s Word in meaningful ways.

Lutheran Bible Translators is already solving the technical problems related to Bible translation and is supporting students studying translation in Seminary. The partnership will advance translation work in Ethiopia.

Completed Scripture is distributed and woven into church life, ensuring it’s read, taught, and passed on.
