Become a Member
As a direct financial contributor to Lutheran Bible Translators, you qualify to be a member for the current year if you:
- are a member of a Lutheran congregation, and
- are at least 18 years old.
Members participate in nominating and electing the Board of Directors and participate in any changes to the bylaws (our charter document).
If you meet the criteria for membership and would like to receive nomination and voting materials, please complete and submit the form.
If you donate jointly with a spouse, each person is eligible to have one vote. You must submit information for each individual, if applicable.

2024 Annual General Meeting Recap
2024 marked Lutheran Bible Translators’ 60th year of bringing God’s Word to those who needed it most. We celebrated two major milestones – the Konso Bible dedication in Ethiopia and the Shekgalagari New Testament launch in Botswana. Through your generosity, we expanded from 72 to 149 language communities since 2019.
Your partnership enabled crucial collaborations with Lutheran church bodies worldwide and helped place newly translated Scriptures in the Museum of the Bible’s Illuminations Room. The empty shelves there reminded us of our urgent mission – at that time, 3,942 languages still had little to no Scripture access. With your continued prayers and support, we have committed to ensuring every language would have God’s Word by 2033.
We invite you to remain engaged through prayer, giving, or advocacy. Every contribution drove the ministry forward as we followed the Lord’s guidance in this vital work.
