Kara Kuhn

Meet the Missionary

Kara is serving as West Africa Data Coordinator, remotely supporting Bible translation, scripture engagement, and literacy projects across the region.

She and her husband, Rev. Mike Kuhn, were previously involved in a translation project in Cameroon through Lutheran Bible Translators of Canada, where he served as exegete for the Nizaa New Testament and she homeschooled their four children, Tobias, Gideon, Gloria, and Jubilee.

Their family is now based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where Kara is working from home, Mike is teaching at Concordia Lutheran Seminary, and the children are attending school.
